Shark Cage in North Shore

Shark Cage
SHARKS! SHARKS! SHARKS! This was a neat experience however one we were a little disappointed with our trip. We used Hawaii Shark Encounters for $105 you can get a two-hour tour with a guarantee to see sharks. We were the first group of the morning and the crew was late. Hawaii Shark Encounters also charges ten dollars more a person than North Shore Shark Adventures. Hawaii Shark Encounters took us out into the ocean and we are able to get into a cage with sharks all around you. There were quite a few sandbar sharks varying in size. They would swim extremely close to the cage. The sharks got so close to the cage you could literally touch them, so make sure when you are in the cage you are aware of where your legs are. A couple of times we looked down and noticed we had let our legs hang out of the cage. Shark CageDon’t forget to take motion sickness medicine even if you don’t get sick. I was throwing up off the boat the entire way back to shore. My husband says it is because I held onto the cage. Even with an uncomfortable ride back to land and a late start we had a blast. Never before have I been so close to multiple sharks in the ocean.
